AGILE was honoured to participate in the Annual Project to Policy Seminar, organized by the European Commission and co-hosted by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) in Brussels.
This prestigious event served as a vital platform for connecting innovative research with EU policy-making in civil security. It brought together policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to align groundbreaking projects with policy objectives.
AGILE actively engaged in thematic breakout sessions alongside projects such as Meteor Rapid Cargo Screener, EU-Funded Project, CosmoPort, STBERNARD PROJECT. These interactions provided excellent opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
During the breakout session on “Disaster Resilient Societies”, moderated by Philippe Quevauviller, Project Coordinator Gordana Cveljo introduced AGILE, highlighting the project’s contributions to disaster resilience.
The session proved to be an enriching experience, offering insights into similar projects across Europe and fostering meaningful discussions on enhancing societal resilience to HILP events.
The exchange of ideas and experiences was invaluable, paving the way for future collaborations and innovations in several crucial areas of disaster resilience such as:
- Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Preparedness (B-prepared Horizon Europe project, SYNERGISE project, Synergies Project, Resiliage, and AGILE)
- Developing Technologies to Manage CBRN Threats (Chimera (https://lnkd.in/dPuF68-b), STBERNARD PROJECT, and TeamUP project)
- Developing Early Warning and Response Systems (GOBEYOND (https://lnkd.in/dgGK5Hzb), MedEWSa project)
